We currently have a positions available for Line Leaders within the Production teams at PDM Produce.

Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 12 hours shifts.6am - 6pm

As part of the PDM team the Line Leader will report directly to the Shift Supervisor and indirectly to the Production Manager.

Primary Responsibilities will include:-

· Quality Control checks of product produced and/or labelled at PDM

· Complete all required Line quality checks to the latest procedure as per PDM Quality Manual, including Tsunami check/Pro dose Chlorine checks, metal detector, check weigher, and Optical grader checks

· Ensure all records are legible, accurate and done in a timely manner according to the procedure

· Collect micro and shelf life sample bags, for QA to collect from the line

· Inputting product information and data accurately and on time into the computer system

· Inputting of Line performance onto the computer system, ensuring this is done in ‘real time’, quantifiable and fully explanative for the shift.

· Completing weight scales checks as per schedule and procedure

· Complete the line start-up check sheets, ensuring the line is not only health and safety safe but also food safe, prior to starting

· Print pallet labels, box end label and check labels are correct, checking the data against QAS standards & Promotion sheets

· Check and sign off all labels printed by PDM

· Ensure all staff (FTE or temporary labour) are trained in their role

· Ensure the line is kept supplied with boxes, crates, labels ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum

· Ensure Raw material is of the correct quality and that the Lott numbers are correctly being used

· Monitor the lines performance and efficiency according to the required standard to maximise output

· Ensure that all products leaving PDM are within the specification as required by the end customer, and all labels, when applied are correct.

A weekly performance bonus is also achievable within this role.

This shift pattern is to work 4 on 4 off Days

6am - 6pm

Average 38.5hr week

Experience in FMCG business essential

Transport is essential due to our location
