We are currently seeking a Production Leader for a hands on approach running our production team and help us grow further.
Main duties for this role:
- Effectivelly and efficiently manage day to day production
- To lead a small team by example, manage, motivate and organise production line within your responsibility
- To ensure products are correctly manufactured and packed in line with the company's specifications
- To ensure that all documentation and paperwork is correctly completed
- Communicate any quality, technical, machine or Health & Safety issues
- To ensure adequate care of all products
- To promote good work practices within the team
- To ensure working area is kept in good order at all times
A successful candidate will have these qualities below:
- Strong people and leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor colleagues
- Experience working in a production/manufacturing area in the chemical or pharma industries
- Experience leading a small team
- High attention to detail, with the ability to record and communicate accurate technical measurements and readings
- Ability to interpret, follow, and train operators to Standard Operating Procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time management, organisation and planning skills
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Excellent team working skills
- Hands-on approach
Work hours:
09:00-17:00 Mon-Fri
