Job description
We are recruiting for a cleaning operations manager to run the cleaning department of our client, a well-established company based in West London. The company has a very settled management team, many of whom have been there 7/10 years. The main role will be to oversee several cleaning contracts for residential buildings across West London. A typical day may see you dispatching the teams very early in the morning, responding to emails, meeting clients on site where issues have arisen and perhaps carrying out an interview.
Duties include:
- Running the contracts for a number of residential buildings and estates
- Gain working knowledge of all sites
- Act proactively with both the cleaning operatives and clients
- Delivering the highest standards to clients
- Responding to staff issues including any disciplinary matters
- Assign supervisors daily duties and take feedback on quality of works carried out
- Maintain strong client relationship and dialogue to ensure ongoing satisfaction
- Reviewing performance and ensuring service delivery provided
- Managing service teams through supervisors
Must have:
- Experience running contracts and managing a team
- Running contracts with sizable manual workforce
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A driving license
- A steady work history
