Job description

Discovery Education is looking for a Production Intern to join our international team. The Production Intern will have the opportunity to experience all areas of international production. This includes Global content, UK Topical content, Early Years, KS1 and KS2 Curriculum alignment and Content Management. A core part of their role will be asset and data management to help the team prepare for a back to school launch. This will involve reviewing multiple assets and assuring the correct metadata is attached.

This internship is based in Bath, and you must be able to travel to Bath daily for 8 weeks.
Salary: £10.90 per hour
Hours per week: 37.5 hrs per week


What You Will Do

  • Checking asset taxonomy.
  • Creating asset spreadsheets.
  • Data entry, checking, tracking, organising.
  • Some content management and curation.
  • Opportunity to build an educational resource.
  • Write and edit produce a short topical film.

Requirements

Required

  • Knowledge of, and strong interest in, education.

  • Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable

  • Experience writing copy.
  • Experience in multimedia production.
