Summary of Position:
The Production Engineer / Engineering Analyst will support the Technical Field Services group with coordinating and evaluating data for SCADA, measurement, allocation, and other operational technology solutions used by the WaterBridge Resources. You will assemble and evaluate information with data, engineering, and operations teams to ensure the accurate population of site creation data, measurement diagrams, system balances, and allocation networks. You will work with other engineers and analysts to analyze data, troubleshoot issues, support projects, and recommend solutions. This position reports to the Manager of Measurement.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The following represents most of the duties performed by the position but is not meant to be all-inclusive nor prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary. Employees are expected to comply with all regulatory, environmental, and safety rules and standards, as well as corporate policies.
As a Production Engineer / Engineering Analyst, you will be responsible for:
  • Gathering, populating, and maintaining site creation data for Field Apps, Measurement Data Center, SCADA, and Control Room consumption.
  • Analyzing, reconciling, and preparing monthly water and skim oil allocations in order to assist Accounting, Regulatory, and Analytics departments with required reports (TX, NM, other states as needed).
  • Working closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to ensure the accurate installation of equipment, data collection, and project management.
  • Evaluating allocation schema, measurement data integrity, system balances, and internal software systems for accuracy and performance.
  • Validating measurement calculations and equipment calibration error.
  • Preparing and submitting monthly system balances and allocations to internal departments.
  • Requesting allocations by well, where necessary, from customers monthly for volume reporting.
  • Preparing monthly allocation and skim oil report to customers.
  • Preparing monthly skim tank volume analysis and interacts with field operations, Measurement, and SCADA.
  • Establishing working relationships with engineering, field, and other internal/external customers to better meet business needs.
  • Researching projects and make evaluations, knowing what information to collect, where to find it, and how to interpret it to resolve issues.
  • Participating in review of industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, information systems, or related field preferred.
  • Have 3-5 years Oil and Gas industry experience, with 1-2 years’ experience focused within the midstream industry.
  • Experience in production, facility, or process engineering or analysis is preferred.
  • Must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Vizio, and Project.
  • Have knowledge with business intelligence, analytics, and data visualization tools or software.
  • Have working knowledge of oil & gas production accounting, allocations, and production reporting process.
  • Have operational knowledge of oil & gas midstream gathering and facilities.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain effective relationships, and communicate, with various agencies, customers, and all levels of company staff and management.
  • Have strong analytical, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be meticulous with the ability to multi-task with attention to accuracy.
  • Must be team player that possess the ability to adapt to a changing and fast paced work environment.
  • Be able to coordinate and communicate logic, enhancements, and requirements to in house developers.
