Job description
A fast growing sportswear business requires an experienced supply chain/production coordinator to join their vibrant offices in St Albans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning and scheduling production and book factory capacities
- Oversee the placement/production and deliveries of all purchase orders
- Negotiating prices with suppliers and shipping companies
- Build strong relationships with key suppliers, leading weekly check in meetings and overseeing production status reports.
- Hold meetings with sales team to update on statuses of all the orders and deliveries and to ensure launch dates are met
- Working closely with Financial Director on cash plan and supplier payments
- Work closely with design and product developer to build critical path and ensure key dates are met
- Arranging transport within UK and EU
- Working together with shipping company to arrange seafreight/airfreight
Other responsibilities:
- Support warehouse with all required information: packing lists, deliveries, inbound forecast
- Support warehouse with arranging transport
- Arrange any required info for production: EAN codes, RRPs, packing requirements
Ideal candidate:
- 3-5 years of working experience in similar role
- Ideally experience in sportswear
- Good Excel abilities
- Can-do attitude
- Target-focused team player
