A fast growing sportswear business requires an experienced supply chain/production coordinator to join their vibrant offices in St Albans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and scheduling production and book factory capacities
• Oversee the placement/production and deliveries of all purchase orders
• Negotiating prices with suppliers and shipping companies
• Build strong relationships with key suppliers, leading weekly check in meetings and overseeing production status reports.
• Hold meetings with sales team to update on statuses of all the orders and deliveries and to ensure launch dates are met
• Working closely with Financial Director on cash plan and supplier payments
• Work closely with design and product developer to build critical path and ensure key dates are met
• Arranging transport within UK and EU
• Working together with shipping company to arrange seafreight/airfreight

Other responsibilities:

• Support warehouse with all required information: packing lists, deliveries, inbound forecast
• Support warehouse with arranging transport
• Arrange any required info for production: EAN codes, RRPs, packing requirements

Ideal candidate:

• 3-5 years of working experience in similar role
• Ideally experience in sportswear
• Good Excel abilities
• Can-do attitude
• Target-focused team player
