The Production Coordinator is responsible for organising, coordinating, and supervising the material movement around production, whilst maintaining the production schedule and ensuring all information is both accurate and up to date. The Production Coordinator will champion the In Touch System and the new IFS ERP computer system.The Coordinator will work a continental shift pattern on a rolling shift pattern, 4 on 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights from 06:45am to 19:00pm and 18:45pm to 07:00am.IPL Wolverhampton formerly known as Plastic Bottle Supplies, is an industry manufacturing specialist of HDPE Plastic Bottles with a 20 plus year history of servicing many successful businesses within the UK. IPL Wolverhampton manufactures fully recyclable products with post-consumer recycled options available.Position Title: Production CoordinatorLocation: WolverhamptonWhat you will bring to the role:Champion the new IFS ERP computer system.Issuing labels corresponding to shop orders in line with IFS.Ensuring the correct labels are printed and matched alongside the IFS computer system.Complying and managing the works order packs for each job, which includes labels, packing specifications and packaging support.Ensuring quality assurance throughout the production process.Being vigilant with the production team to ensure they are adhering to scheduled timescales.Providing hands-on assistance for all shop orders, including production planning, setting up, and the operation of machinery.Assisting with coordination of production planning, related functions, and schedules.Control and coordinate all shop orders.Ensuring that employees comply with all safety regulations.Anticipate any potential deviations from or changes to the production plan and react accordingly.Ensuring that the appropriate raw materials, consumables, and labour are available to help meet the production plan.Assist with managing inventory levels for commodities of raw materials.Administer material scheduling and procurement for multiple commodities.Essential experience and skills:Fully computer literate (Intermediate or advanced knowledge).Quality inspection experience.Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment.Desirable – Familiar with blow moulding machines or plastic manufacturing.The successful candidate will be:Extremely well organised and meticulous.Proactive.Good communicator.Ability to use your own innovative.Willing to learn new things.Job Types: Permanent, Full-time, ContractSalary: £11.45 per hourBenefits:Company pensionHealth & wellbeing programmeOn-site parkingReferral programmeSchedule:12 hour shiftDay shiftNight shiftOvertimeWeekend availabilitySupplemental pay types:Bonus schemeQuarterly bonusApplication question(s):Do you have good computer skills?Language:English (required)Work Location: In personReference ID: Production
