The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude who is approachable and works well as part of a wider manufacturing team. The right person will be forward thinking, be able to work under their own initiative, as well as contributing to a detailed manufacturing process. You must be health and safety minded, as well as being focused on quality of work being produced.
Once established within the business there is further opportunities to develop into other roles within the company.
Hours of work will be 8.30am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 2pm Fridays.
Job description and roles:
- Warehouse operation, with management of goods in and goods out systems.
- Despatching of finished goods, ensuring quality of material.
- Stock management of raw materials and finished goods.
- Fork lift truck operation to move products around the site.
- Ensuring good manufacturing, housekeeping, quality, and health & safety standards throughout the site.
Key skills required for the Production Operative job include:
· Previous experience within manufacturing would be desirable.
· Demonstrate strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with an attention to detail.
· Good work ethic, a team player who can also work independently.
· Be a good communicator.
. Motivated to learn new processes and develop themselves into new roles.
