About the job/role
We are looking for a 6-mont contract Production Assistant at WildBrain Spark. In this role, you will assist the Producers and make sure the production is running smoothly, so the project is being delivered on brief, schedule and budget. You will be also be supporting the production’s team. This role reports directly to the Producer/Senior Producer and Creative Producer.

Responsibilities
  • Support the production and delivery of the project, reporting to the Senior Producer and Creative Producer
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service
  • Lead on all administrative and coordination tasks associated with the production; asset & data, schedule and supplier management
  • Work collaboratively across all teams ensuring we use the full capabilities of the business to deliver (Marketing, Commercial, Distribution, Data, Post Production)
  • Negotiate timelines with suppliers and freelancers
  • Keep the project on budget and running to agreed schedules
  • Assist the Producer or Senior Producer on day-to-day tasks
  • Work across multiple complex productions with often conflicting schedules
  • Find new suppliers, locations vendors and crew on short notice when required
  • Flexibility and understanding on the roles and responsibilities across projects
  • Play a key role in the seamless handovers and relationship between teams and suppliers.
Qualifications
  • Understanding of the animation pipeline
  • Being able to detect animation inaccuracy (color check, scale and layer issues, continuity errors) and QC animation files across the series
  • Revising digital assets from pre-production to final delivery
  • Knowledge of the digital content industry and production processes (experience in the kids market preferable)
  • Experience in relationship management with external clients
  • Experience with multi-tasking and working under pressure on a number of projects with a range of complexity
  • Working across narrative content, Short Form or YouTube specifically is preferred
  • Confidence in own creative judgement, or interpretation of creative briefs
  • Negotiation, leadership and management skills, plus ability to motivate and develop multi-function teams
