Job description
Priddy Books, children's publisher of baby, pre-school and novelty books, is looking for an organised, passionate individual to join our small, friendly Production team in an entry-level Production Assistant role.
The Production Assistant will work across the whole of the Priddy Books and Neon Squid backlists.
Reporting into the Production Manager, the role involves ordering reprints and co-editions, liaison with printers and close collaboration with the rest of the production team. It will be an ideal first step on the path of a career in book production.
The successful candidate will:
- Have exceptional attention to detail,
- Have excellent communication skills,
- Be proactive and self-motivated,
- Be able to work well as part of a team,
- Be keen to learn about all aspects of book production
Experience in the following areas would be beneficial but is not essential:
- An understanding of book production and / or printing processes
- Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office
This is a full time, permanent role, partly based in our offices near King’s Cross, London, and partly working from home.
