My client, a market-leading manufacturer of ambient food products, are recruiting an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will lead from the front, delivering significant contributions to the organisations business objectives and contributing to the continued profitable growth of a rapidly expanding business
Main Duties:
Reporting to the General Manager, with responsibility for a five strong team, you will lead from the front, controlling and overseeing all factory operations.
Exemplary communication skills are required to communicate issues and decisions across the factory between all departments ensuring maximum productivity
You will provide leadership and direction with a specific focus on driving operational performance, developing people and building a culture of continuous improvement.
You will be responsible for the maintenance of systems and processes across the entire factory, specifically KPI’s; downtime and wastage
Candidate Profile:
This is a leadership role for an experienced Operations Manager from a Food/FMCG background, with a track record of creating, growing and building a high-performance team via a positive and inclusive management style.
You will demonstrate a high degree of personal presence and credibility; with the ability to lead through others, personal development and mentoring skills, together with excellent communication and team building attributes
Together with your operational experience, you will possess a commercial mindset and customer focus, possessing outstanding management and business development skills.
With experience of operating to the highest level of professionalism and personal integrity, you will have the leadership and vision to ensure strong decision making in the organisation
