Job description
We are one of the fastest-growing and most exciting health brands in the UK. We're looking for a Production Assistant to join our dedicated team in Chatteris and support the production of our potent on-the-go drinks which support the health and wellbeing of our customers.
About the role:
As a full-time Production Assistant you will be required to assist within a number of roles to support the production of chilled juices within a family run business that maintains the highest standards throughout. The production itself takes place within a SALSA approved, allergen-free production unit. Alongside this, the role will extend to the packing of products, sourcing of goods and supporting the overall logistics of the production processes and day to day logistics in place.
- Inspecting, handling, washing, and cutting fruits & vegetables.
- Using equipment and machinery to bottle juices and cap bottles.
- Booking in ingredient and packaging equipment.
- Care of working areas and storerooms including the main production area, staff areas and refrigerated units.
You are/have:
- A team player with a strong desire to get the job done.
- Keen to learn, progress and develop.
- Excellent eye for detail.
- Skilled at following instructions and proactively keen to assume responsibility for tasks to be completed.
Desirable Training / Experience:
- Food & Hygiene Levels 1 & 2 (online training course can be provided)
- HACCP Level 1: Identify hazards (online training course can be provided)
- Training on equipment / Machinery instructions (In-house training provided)
- Health and Safety
- Fire Safety
- Moving and handling of goods
