Job description
Caledonia Signs are one of the UK’s largest manufacturers and suppliers of safety signs and products. We are looking to add a Production Assistant to our production team to help keep up with workload. The role will involve working as an integral member of a busy signage company supporting various areas of the business.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working in a busy printing and manufacturing environment;
- cutting and preparation of material ready for printing;
- manufacturing of signage and other large format jobs;
- support the warehouse processes;
- flexibility to work in other areas as and when required;
Key skills required:
- Team Player - ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Can-do attitude
- The ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines without compromising quality
- Good communication skills – verbal & written
- Keen to learn new skills including the use of production printers, guillotines and other assorted print finishing equipment
- Adaptability and flexibility within a busy working environment
- Reliable, good time-keeping and strong work ethic
Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
