Description
Narce Media is a video production agency that creates impactful digital first content and gripping TV commercials which are guaranteed to get you on the edge of your seat. We are looking for a creative and ambitious individual to join our video production team.
As a production assistance you will be responsible for being a key player throughout the production process. You will do this by pitching ideas in team meetings to be then pitched to clients, work on bringing together all the pre-production assets, work on set to bring the project to life and support with the editing function to create the final piece.
You main responsibilities will be:
- Working with the team to pitch ideas and creative directions for productions
- Communicating with crew, internal team and external suppliers to ensure a shoot goes smoothly
- Liaising with clients to ensure they understand all elements of the shoot.
- Working on schedules and paperwork for a shoot
- Working on set and on shoots assisting with logistics, cameras and audio
- On set helping with data management and backing up footage
- Working on post production and assisting with edits
- Backing up footage for archives and projects
- Organising and sorting out post production files and media assets
- Camera knowledge (Sony preferably)
- Editing suite knowledge (Premier Pro/FCPX/DaVinci)
- Google Suite
Entry requirements
Applicants should be literate and numerate. GCSE grade C/4 and above in English and Maths (or other Level 2 qualification).
Training to be provided
You will be completing a Production Assistant Level 3 Apprenticeship with Creative Alliance.
You will have training on the job and off the job with the award winning, creative specilaised provider Creative Alliance.

Things to consider
This is an office based role in the centre of Birmingham. Weekend and evening work may be required.
