Production & Warehouse Assistant
Surelight are a UK based lighting company. We work with primarily commercial lighting, offering a range of high quality neon lighting for businesses with an additional involvement in race car/ motorsport lighting. We are looking for a Production and Warehouse Assistant in the Sheffield area.
Successful applicants will help with the production of lighting, flow of stock, inventory and other assets through the warehouse, monitoring goods in and out for quality and quantity, and maintaining inventory accounting records, while safely and efficiently handling items along with the assembly of in-house products.

Accountabilities
*Please note that one-to-one training will be provided for business-specific responsibilities.
- Stock management & Control
- Data entry on Sage 50 and other Microsoft Packages
- Quality Control & returns
- Making of in-house goods (This will involve soldering, using glue guns and other equipment. Training will be provided).
- Responsible for checking goods in and that the correct quantity and type of goods have been received, recording any damaged, missing, or faulty goods.
- Responsible for the despatch of goods using various shipping couriers such as UPS, DHL etc, with the relevant documentation to the customer or outlet.
- Maintaining the warehouse in a tidy state and clearing away packing material and debris.
- Responsible for maintaining stock records and monitoring levels of inventory.
- Responsible for the assembly and connections of made to order goods, this will involve following a picking list to pick parts from the warehouse to then assemble into the final product.
- Basic computer skills, particularly Excel and Word (Some experience with Sage 50 but not essential)
- Production of goods by following client designs and specifications, ensuring the utmost attention to detail
- Basic electricity fundamentals- dealing with terms like current/voltage, difference between AC/DC, correct wiring of products

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
