Production and Repair Operator
Templecombe
Our Opportunity:
- The successful candidate will be accountable for performing manufacturing operations in accordance with appropriate engineering drawings and documents, by working within the allocated times and the required quality criteria.
- Assist in the development and production of Conformal Panels in line with required standards and Quality, through teamwork.
- Assist in the continuing support of Ship Installation at UK Naval bases for above and below water.
What the role has to offer:
Responsible for
- On time and to quality manufacture of Conformal Panels
- Escalate blockers and issues to Layer Leader
- Escalating Health and safety issues to Team Leader through the relevant meeting structure.
- Ensuring 5S standards are met
Key performance Indicators against Responsibilities and Tasks (professional only):
- Quality
Ensuring any quality non-conformances are logged and escalated to the Inspector/QA rep
- Delivery
Focus on time delivery (OTD), ensuring delivery is made on time and to plan
- Safety
Ensure all incidents are logged correctly and escalated to H&S leaders as appropriate
About you:
- The ability to interpret a build pack
- Good communication skills
- Works well as part of a team
