We manufacture a range of products, primarily from aluminium in our production facility in Redditch. As a result of successful expansion of the business and a record year of sales growth, we are strengthening our team.
We are looking for a
Production Administrator
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join our team as we expand our production facility in Redditch.
This is a permanent role which is required to maintain and improve our production systems
The role will also have an integral part to play in the administration of the main office activities.
The Role
Detailed constituent elements:
Entering production order information to MRP system
Purchase ordering of relevant production manterials and consumables.
Processing of incoming goods to inventory system and assisting in inventory control and management
Controlling subcontract service processes and related inventory movements
Periodic testing of emergency lighting, alarm systems and fire drills.
Control and execution of all production equipment maintenance and safety examinations and service programs.
Maintenance of training records and booking of relevant training courses
Preparation of Risk Assesssments and method statements as required
Assistance in reviewing, updating, maintaining and applying company health and safety policies, company manuals and other related documentation.
Collation of production timesheets for finance department.
Preparation of product repair assements and related production orders.
The candidate
The successful candidate will have:
Experience of working in an office based administration role - preferably with some production involvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and on the phone.
Good written communication skills including use of emails.
Able to work alone and cooperatively.
Good general organisational, office and IT skills.
Experience of maintaining and applying Health and Safety policies and procedures
A flexible and positive attitude to contributing to the success of the business.
Skills and Attributes:
Good general educational background sufficient to provide adequate numeracy and communication skills.
A positive attitude to work and the workplace
The ability to form excellent working relationships with colleagues
Relevant Health and Safety Qualification would be an advantage.
