Job Summary
ProblemShared is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Product Officer (CPO) to join our scaling up company and take a pivotal leadership role in shaping and driving the product strategy, vision, and execution. Your leadership will be essential in developing innovative digital mental health solutions that positively impact our Clients. You will collaborate closely with the Engineering team to ensure the successful delivery of innovative, high-quality solutions. As CPO, you will report to the CEO and be responsible for building out and overseeing the Product team, developing our product strategy and managing the product development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy and Roadmap
- Define and communicate the overall product strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and business goals.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, user needs, and competitive landscape to inform the product roadmap.
Product Development
- Lead the end-to-end product process, from ideation to launch, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and user-centric solutions that are compliance with relevant data security requirements.
- Drive the creation and prioritisation of the product roadmap, incorporating user feedback, market insights, and business objectives.
- Leverage data analytics and user feedback to drive product improvements, optimise user experience, and track key performance metrics. Develop and maintain a culture of data-driven decision making within the product team.
- Monitor and analyse product performance, ensuring value realisation, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimisation strategies to drive user engagement and overall success of the product.
- Oversee the product lifecycle, collaborating closely with engineering teams to deliver products on time and within budget.
- Champion agile methodologies, ensuring rapid iterations and continuous improvement.
User-Centric Design and Experience
- Advocate for a deep understanding of user needs and pain points, ensuring that product features and design is inclusive and delivers a human centred approach.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing to deliver on the brand and experience standards, and Design teams to develop great customer journeys that drive engagement and satisfaction.
- Leverage user feedback, accessibility standards, usability testing, and data analytics to iterate and enhance product offerings.
Team Leadership and Development
- Build and lead a high-performing product team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Foster effective cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment and coordination across engineering, design, marketing, and other stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, in particular Engineering but also including insights, marketing, sales, operations, and customer support, to ensure a unified and coordinated approach to product development and launch. Foster a collaborative environment and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
Market and Competitive Analysis
- Stay abreast of market trends relating to mental health and digital health solutions.
- Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities, gaps, and differentiators in the market.
- Monitor key metrics and industry benchmarks to evaluate product performance and inform strategic decision-making.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior product leadership role, preferably in a technology-driven startup or digital health company.
- Experience of and understanding of working in the health sector and clinical best practices.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully launching and scaling innovative digital products from ideation to market adoption.
- Deep understanding of inclusive design principles and experience leveraging design thinking methodologies.
- Experience of working closely with Engineering teams.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional, fully remote teams.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities, capable of effectively collaborating with diverse teams and executive leadership.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Experience with data analysis and leveraging analytics to drive product decisions.
