About the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for media network and platform product management. This includes owning, developing and implementing long term strategies, new product development, managing the profit & loss of the products, bid management, in-life development and commercial management.

Role Responsibilities
  • Owning the business case for new products and the P&L for existing products portfolio.
  • Be responsible for the product plan, pricing strategy, development budget and road map.
  • Maintain cost competitiveness through product Lifecyle end reviews.
  • Maintaining a reputation with the senior team for leading product development & management activities across BT Business and teams in domestic & international markets.
  • Liaising with and interpreting views from UK & international teams for implementing new product developments and improving in-life management
  • Finding opportunities for growth and expansion on the M&B Media Networks
  • Lead projects that go to BT Business Investment Board
Skills and Experience
  • Customer Insight: Building detailed and nuanced understanding of customers, their context and preferences. Analysis and evaluation of customer data to find potential sales opportunities and supplying recommendations.
  • Broadcasting Excellence: Supporting the team to design and deliver innovative ways to surprise and delight the audience, quickly adapting to challenges in changing circumstances. Applying your passion and knowledge of the live broadcasting environment and emerging trends.
  • Consumer Knowledge: Generating ideas and recommendations for product or service development. Using in-depth analysis to apply understanding of trends in consumer habits and preferences.
  • Stakeholder management, ability to deliver results in complex environments, develop and sustain relationships.
  • Commercial acumen to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes includes financial and P&L management
  • Planning and technical skills with the ability achieve mutually satisfying outcomes for BT and its customers.
