We are currently recruiting for a Product Partnership Manager who will report into the Global Head of Cross Border and Cross Currency Payments. As the Product Partnership Manager, you will be responsible for the execution of the global strategy within the Global Team. This requires operating across the matrix, with close collaboration with the regional teams across GPS and with Group Line of Business and Product areas.
This role is based in London on a hybrid working basis.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying opportunities for synergy that will benefit both GPS and Group Line of Business and Product areas operationally and commercially
- Defining, creating, and driving solutions as part of this collaboration, to enhance HSBC’s market leadership position and profile
- Drive joint commercialisation activities to support collaboration initiatives to improve client outcomes and commercial performance
- Promote market presence through joint activities of thought leadership such as speaking engagements, articles
- Develop and manage a strategic roadmap for collaborative activities between GPS and Group Line of Business and Product areas to drive and achieve our multi-year strategy that will meet market demand for solutions for our clients
- Oversee activities in the Product Management Life Cycle of global solutions and products in scope because of this collaboration: idea generation/market management, product development, product delivery, product commercialization, business management/risk management
- Drive for success through the application of people skills across a wide matrix of geography (regional and global) both within GPS and in collaboration with Group Line of Business and Product areas
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Experience leading change and inspiring teams
- Industry sector experience across Corporates and Financial Institutions
- Prior expertise in cash management and specifically exposure to Payment products
- Strong managerial, communications, financial, negotiation and organizational skills.
- Strong data analytics capability
- Proven leadership skills in complex, matrix organizations participating in teams with strong influencing and collaboration skills.
- Track record of building strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders and cross collaborative initiatives.
- Strong presentation skills; able to work independently under pressure of competing deadlines
