Job description

With OneWeb, You'll Get To:

OneWeb offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the technology revolution in Space, where you can accelerate your career through fast-paced experiential learning and executive-level exposure. As a Product Owner, you will work with a team of talented professionals in a company that values its people. You will have the chance to bring transformative broadband connectivity to remote places for the first time and create leading products and features based on innovative Low Earth Orbit (LEO) technology.

Who You Are:

You are a motivated and commercially focused Telecoms professional who is passionate about redefining connectivity and challenging traditional business models. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can bridge the gap between business and technology. Even in high-pressure situations, you remain calm and steady, and you measure success based on outcomes rather than output.

You have a strong appetite for new challenges and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the world by revolutionizing technology in Space.

What You'll Do:

Your primary responsibility will be to support the evolution of product strategies, roadmaps, and lifecycles for various connectivity products based on LEO technology and associated value streams. You will shape and justify strategies, roadmaps, and development priorities in alignment with internal and external development partners. Collaborating closely with Sales, Commercial, and technical teams, you will ensure that products are tested and refined to meet customer needs effectively. Additionally, you will define use cases, address any issues, set performance measures, and conduct regular reviews of in-life products. Your role will also involve creating product documentation and coordinating product launches.

What It Takes:

To excel in this role, you should have a strong background in the technology industry and preferably hold a relevant degree. Ideally you should have a couple of years' experience in product management, preferably in the Telecommunications or Technology industry. Alternatively, you may have deep experience in Commercial, Marketing, Pre-Sales, or Product Development with a keen interest in Product Management. Experience in shaping and refining product strategies for complex projects is highly valued. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as you will be required to convey product concepts and value propositions to senior management and stakeholders. While a technical understanding of Telecommunication Products/Technologies is beneficial, your strength lies in bridging the gap between technology solutions and commercial outcomes.

What We'd Love:

In addition to your commercial acumen, strong collaboration skills are key as you will work with cross-functional teams in distributed locations. Experience in coordinating and leading such teams is highly advantageous. An understanding of delivering excellent customer experiences and proficiency in tools like Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, are important for effective communication and documentation. Experience in backlog management and prioritisation will contribute to your success in this role.

Where You'll Be:

Hybrid / OneWeb HQ in London, UK. Travelling only when absolutely required.

If you are excited about shaping the future of connectivity products in the space industry and possess the skills and qualifications outlined above, we would love to hear from you.
