POSITION DESCRIPTION
Are you someone who is passionate about digital transformation?
At Saint-Gobain Digital, we are looking for a Product Owner (IT Services) to work with us on a hybrid basis out of any of our UK hubs, including East Leake, Elland, Coventry and Tadley.
This person will be a part of our enthusiastic IT Services team who are a major part of our ongoing digital transformation and are proud to work for our us. In this exciting role, you will be reporting to the Chief Technical Officer and manage a Product Analyst. This is a newly created role where you will focus on the customer to shape digital products that create value for customers, are widely adopted, and drive value back to one or more of Saint-Gobain’s businesses in the UK.
What you will do:
- Create and maintain a prioritised backlog aligned to the vision, business strategic goals, that offer the best flow of value and is agreed with key stakeholders
- Align roadmaps and backlog items within the wider business transformation to create great customer and colleague experiences
- Undertake strategic discovery focused on the customer, market, Saint-Gobain businesses
- Create a product vision clearly showing the customer and business value, gaining buy-in from key stakeholders
- Create and maintain a product roadmap to describe how a product is likely to grow
- Fully support teams responsible for the definition and delivery of backlog items as well as supporting teams managing the wider change in the business
- Demonstrate the value delivered to customers and the business and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain excellent knowledge of technology trends as well as keeping abreast of markets trends relevant to Saint-Gobain in the UK
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
What we’re looking for:
- Experience and understanding of operating using Agile methodologies
- Has employed techniques to shape product development around the customer requirements and customer journey
- Experience in creating and delivering product roadmaps to capture opportunities
- Proven planning skills with the ability to think long-term, and define strategies aligned with business priorities
- Excellent leadership, influencing, networking, and stakeholder/personnel management skills, including interactions with executive leadership
- A strong communicator and good listener, able to present ideas coherently leading to achieving a consensus
- Strong analytical skills required
- Experience translating strategies into product development
- Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
