Within Modern Workplace we operate within a hybrid working pattern. This role will be a mix of on-site a minimum of two days a week, and the rest from home - please ensure you're able to commute to one of our hub locations where you'll be surrounded by colleagues and great working spaces.
What exactly will I focus on in this role?
You'll be responsible for contributing to the groups Modern Workplace strategy taking into consideration the colleague needs within the organisation. Centering on ensuring the Modern Workplace Labs fulfil business requirements in the technology space.
You'll also be a subject matter expert in aspects of the Modern Workplace tools space understanding how market and industry changes will influence and challenge the future of Modern Workplace. Responsible for the release of incremental value contributing towards a comprehensive product with the main goal of realising value for our colleagues by ensuring that the team are working on the right priorities.
This is achieved by fostering collaborative, empowered teams, nurturing them to take ownership of the relevant outcomes. As well as stimulating innovation and mitigating risk by conducting data driven test and learn activities. Essential experience we're after:
- You'll demonstrate experience of the leading industry tools within the modern workplace space with particular focus but not solely on Microsoft 365 capabilities.
- Product Owner experience of leading teams using Agile/Scrum methodologies, driving forward a clear product vision, shape and manage product backlogs with a focus on achieving agreed outcomes and deliverables.
- Significant experience with agile development methods & tooling e.g. Scrum, Kanban, Jira & Confluence
- Experience in implementing new processes/ways of working whilst working with technical and cross-functional teams to deliver change
- Strong collaborator and excellent influencing skills to achieve alignment up, down and across the organisation, with additional strength in dependency management and effective resolution

- Experience of crafting a phenomenal team environment that attracts and retains talent
- Passion for tackling complex problems and breaking them out into a roadmap of viable solutions.
- Experience of financial planning and cost control: a track record of delivering within budget and using resources effectively
