Senior Product Owner – Customer Data
Hybrid Working – Stoneleigh, Warwickshire
Job Summary
The Product Owner (PO) for the Customer data domain is a key operational role within the team of the Customer Data Product Manager (PM) who owns the data product vision and strategic road map for the Customer data domain in the enterprise.
The Product Owner defines user stories and collaborates closely with business and technical teams for user story refinements. In close alignment with the Customer Data Product Manager and consistent with the data product vision the Product Owner prioritizes the sprint backlog to maximize customer value. Furthermore, the Product Owner is responsible for quality assurance in the user story development process and acts as a knowledge broker to resolve blockers. Moreover, the Product Owner plays an integral part in communication to internal and external stakeholders and evangelizes the value of scalable data management practices.
The Product Management team for the Customer data domain is embedded in the Data Product Management organization in IT that is responsible for owning all data including customer, dealer, product, telemetry and other domains throughout its lifecycle to ensure high quality, consistency, data security and data protection.
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent the customer needs throughout the development life cycle.
- Own prioritization of sprint backlog for the Customer data domain to maximize customer value in alignment with the overall Customer data vision.
- Owns user story writing.
- Leads sprint backlog grooming to decompose, estimate and refine stories with technical team.
- Organize sequence of work by collaborating with other product owners to identify project dependencies and refine enabler stories.
- Leadership and active participation of agile ceremonies such as product increment planning, sprint planning, refinements, sprint reviews and retrospectives.
- Communicating of the roadmap to relevant stakeholders, passionate advocate of product roadmap through development.
- Troubleshoot problems, identifies possible solutions, and resolves accordingly.
- Prepare releases and supporting documents such as release notes, training documents.
- Organization and preparation of product demos, user acceptance testing

Qualifications/Experience:
- Bachelor`s degree or equivalent education
- Proven relevant experience in data management or analytics
- Experience in SAFe agile, preferably as a product owner or product manager
- Experience in working with curranty data (e.g. contacts, accounts, consent) and experience with customer related processes
- Salesforce experience
- Global experience driving enterprise level Change Management cross functionally
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills, capable of interacting with multiple levels of IT and business management
- Able to synthesize complex topics into meaningful information and prepare materials appropriate for senior level communications
- Expert knowledge in conceptually creating and driving solutions on a regional and global scale in a multi-brand environment
