The Role

At CoMind, we are developing a neuro-sensing technology that will catalyse a modern wave of neuroscience and neurology applications within medical devices. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide multi-functional leadership and strategic direction on the CoMind portfolio. As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of the product and marketing strategy of the groundbreaking CoMind neurotechnology platform. This position will involve collaboration with relevant stakeholders to gather and synthesize feedback to develop new monitoring systems. We are looking for a dynamic, collaborative, and strategic individual who possesses strong clinical and leadership acumen.

Responsibilities

  • Identify all aspects of product development from project inception through first commercial launch, document and help manage the development and introduction of new products and technologies to achieve and maintain market leadership
  • Driving the product portfolio to meet the needs of the market. Responsible for the execution of the product roadmap across the globe
  • Partnering closely with the research and engineering teams to ensure alignment with current projects and understand future development opportunities and design challenges
  • Ensuring external and internal customer focus by communicating and building rapport with customers as required and ensuring the “voice of the customer” is reflected in work processes
  • Partner closely with key thought leaders to anticipate the future market environment, changes in economic climate, the onset of new competitors including substitutes and adjacent players and to predict/drive future needs for current and future customers
  • Create marketing and brand plans, tools and collateral for multiple generations of one product or multiple product families. Identify new target segments and deliver positioning options with implications globally
  • Collect and interpret voice of customer (VOC) input to define market/product requirements and independently design market research and intelligence strategies for a product line
  • Create, communicate and execute global market strategies and actionable market plans to advance the business and generate value
  • Develop and plan marketing programs and activities with accountability for successful completion of all project deliverables including leading cross-functional projects (e.g., product development, economic tools, evidence, market development, VOC activities) from inception to completion
  • Lead and motivate project teams and provide direction and guidance to execute strategic and tactical projects and/or initiatives

About you

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in Engineering, Science or Nursing with 4 years of years’ work experience in product management or healthcare industry with experience in the ICU
  • MBA or Masters Degree in Engineering, Science or Nursing or equivalent plus 2 years of experience in product management or healthcare industry with experience in the ICU
  • Experience in product marketing, product development or related field
  • Healthcare product/industry/technical acumen
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
  • Strong analytical and process skills
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proven successful project management skills
  • Expert understanding of internal and external product and market including functionality, manufacturability, profitability and clinical applicability of products
  • Ability to create comprehensive product management strategies with supporting plans and the ability to execute
  • Ability to forecast product lines for short-term and long-term accuracy based on market development, sales trends, competition and changing market dynamics
  • Ability to assess, understand, and transfer knowledge to other team members on market share, pricing, ASPs, competitive dynamics
  • Strong clinical knowledge, experience and knowledge of the clinical areas where CoMind products are used or intended to be used, understand the purchasing process and challenges for product adoption in complex healthcare networks
