Job description
Job Purpose:
To own the end to end A/B optimisation strategy for ODEON’s digital channels, along with collection of supporting data through tagging and analytics across UK, Ireland, Spain and Portugal. Supporting the commercial team and wider business in achieving and exceeding business goals.
Key Accountabilities:
- Plan, execute and report on A/B testing strategy. Working with our partner agency to drive uplift in key commercial goals.
- Through Tag Manager, manage and improve ODEON’s datalayers and event based reporting in Analytics to ensure we can answer all questions on the performance of our digital channels.
- Work with the Digital Analysts to ensure robust weekly reporting and assist weekly insight gathering.
- Place pixels via Tag manager in partnership with key studios.
- Work with Data protection officer to ensure website data and cookies are captured / implemented in a GDPR compliant fashion.
- Work with stakeholders across multiple countries, ensuring all understand and are aligned with the strategies and plans the role is responsible for.
- Assist the Product manager for development in translating successful tests into development tickets with complete objectives and acceptance criteria.
- Support other teams in the Commercial Department to meet their objectives utilising the website and online assets
- Complete other relevant tasks, as and when required.
Key Skills:
- Excellent understanding of Google Analytics + Google Tag Manager
- Good understanding of the foundations of GDPR and data compliance / hygiene best practices
- Basic HTML, CSS, Javascript / Jquery required
- Experience with Google search console and SEO basics desirable
- Experience with Cookie tracking tools is desirable
- Structured and methodical thinker
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent team and stakeholder managements skills
- Good copy writing and English language skills
- Spanish speaker useful but not essential
- Proven ability to work well within a team and in a busy environment
- Effective in problem solving and willing to make decisions, render judgements and take action.
