About the team
The Zillow Product Team plays a meaningful role in helping customers dream, shop, and transact on their next home. We work with teams of designers, engineers, data scientists, and researchers to build products. We plan, prioritize, advocate, and lead. We keep in sync with our leaders to make sure we are focusing towards the right business outcomes. Our goal is to achieve Zillow 2.0, deliver seamlessly connected comprehensive solutions for buyers, sellers, and agents transacting with Zillow.This role is on our Data, Analytics, and AI product team. We own the platforms, services, products, and processes that support customer oriented, data-driven decision making. On this team, you will have the opportunity to own data products and establish foundational capabilities which serve product, marketing and business stakeholders across all of Zillow.

Owning the vision, strategic direction and delivery of Zillow’s foundational analytical data sets, standardized metrics and reporting solutions.
Developing business context for Zillow’s different lines of business and establish a value-driven roadmap for delivering STAR schema datasets for cross-functional business performance reporting.
Delivering data models that reflect Zillow’s most valuable and important business processes.
Building alignment with product partners, data science, engineering and leadership to drive execution.
Understanding and accounting for up and downstream dependencies and continually evaluating prioritization.
Effectively articulating stakeholder use cases, business value and impact.
Establishing product metrics to measure success and value.
Conducting complex cross team prioritization in face of differing priorities.
Who you are
7+ years of proficient ability in a product management role, with a focus on building data products
Desire to solve technical product challenges in the data engineering and analytics domain.
Solid understanding of technical architecture and data infrastructure principles.
Is fully accountable for annual and quarterly planning for their domain
Defines, socializes, and acquires leadership support of product vision
Makes decisions to address widespread shifts in technology, impacting cross organization plans and is responsible for ensuring resources and processes are established for effective execution
Product decisions, solutions, and suggestions are accurate and successful when judged over time
Identifies when to apply a solution to specific problems and when a patterned solution can apply more broadly
Communication artifacts are exemplary examples for others to follow
Finds common ground, leads, inspires and mentors
