We’re looking for a Big 4 auditor to join our training program to upskill in the area of software Product Management. No previous product management experience is required but you will need to be smart, ambitious and excited about changing career direction to a new industry where you can leverage your accounting experience and work with the latest technology and cutting edge Artificial Intelligence.
You’ll be working directly with the Head of Product and other Big 4 accountants, now turned product managers, to deliver on the overall product strategy and vision. You will be client-facing, working with customers to understand their pain points and delivering elegant software solutions to improve their day-to-day processes.
Responsibilities
- Support core product management processes (prioritised backlog, well-written user stories and epics, bug reports etc)
- Meet customers and partners regularly to understand their financial processes and how we can solve them with technology
- Communicate product delivery timelines to internal stakeholders (next week’s plans, sprint demos, and release notes)
- Work closely with both the commercial & technical teams to find the best product solutions
- Work with the founders and commercial teams on strategic topics e.g. market trends & competitor analysis.
Requirements
- You have an Accounting & Finance degree, or a formal qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc)
- You have +3 years of audit experience at one of the Big 4 accounting firms (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG)
- You write & speak clearly – people consider communication one of your major strengths
- You have a dynamic personality with the ability to inspire & motivate people
- You’re a “do-er”, work at pace and are ambitious about building a new career path
- You are technically minded and revel in detail & complexity.
