Job Description
U.S. Bank is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead our fast-growing Enterprise CRM data capabilities. This role will partner with Technology to create the vision and strategy for our Unified Customer View data capabilities. Our goal with Unified Customer View is to enable the best experiences by building a single view of the customer so that services and personalized journeys can be delivered rapidly and cost-effectively. We will enable holistic, cross-product client insights. This work is a key enabler of our transformation efforts as it improves our customer experience, data quality and reduces total cost of ownership through technology modernization. An important objective is to build the data assets in such a way that they are reusable for multiple use cases, across multiple Business lines.
This leader will manage a team to deliver in a highly complex environment, including data orchestration across multiple applications / Business Lines. Lastly, the role will have responsibility for communicating the vision and strategy with Business Line stakeholders and securing their buy-in and investment in the work.
In particular, the role will be responsible for the following:
In partnership with Technology, define a federated operating model where domain owners can publish and consume data while the data is centrally governed and controlled. Advise on architecture, data standards etc to optimize the model and ensure progress is made with the right risk framework.
Partner with senior leaders across Business Lines to understand their challenges as it relates to data and develop use cases accordingly. Work with Technology to solution leveraging various enterprise data capabilities.
Clearly communicate risks, challenges the team is facing in execution. Resolve roadblocks for team in a timely manner that allows us to deliver on-time
Prioritize product roadmaps to meet business objectives. Have a three-year view on the product roadmap to anticipate what is to come and ensure foundational capabilities are able to scale for the future.
Partnering with Business Lines, make the case for investment in this space with clearly defined objectives and key results
Oversee a team who serves as domain owners for Profile & Preferences, Interaction History and Enterprise Unified ID for Corporates. Allocate resources as priority dictates.
Develop a deep understanding of the overall data landscape in the organization and focus on efficiency, reliability and flexibility of the platform
Lead, develop and coach their team for maximum success.
