Job description
Do you want to join an innovative, creative and inclusive culture, at an exciting seed-stage Fintech?
Lumio is providing personal finance management for families, building smart tech so they can share, plan and grow together. Recognised as a Top 100 Fintech Disruptor, ahead of Monzo and Chip, with coverage from Forbes, Tech Nation and Sifted by FT, we’re empowering families to take control of their financial future and be proud of how they provide.
To build an app that truly works for families of all types, we need a team with lived experiences as diverse as the people that make up those families - so we really need and want applications from people with all types of diverse backgrounds.
As Lumio’s Product Manager, you'll work closely with Lumio's CPO, Tom, to shape our vision and strategy, have significant influence on our roadmap, and continuously drive data-backed improvements to the Lumio app.
After raising over £1.7M to date, we're fundraising again this year so we can continue to develop amazing technology and expand as a global team. We're at a critical junction in our growth and need your help.
As our Product Manager, you’ll have these skills
- Important: You will need access to UK financial accounts in order to be able to work with our product and test the user experience yourself
- You are an experienced Product Manager who excels at finding product-market fit in an early stage subscription startup environment
- How to build product-led-growth, from acquisition to activation
- You're outcome focused – you have a bias for action, a growth mindset and are always willing to test, learn and iterate towards your goals
- You’re comfortable with data analysis and you are data-driven in how you make decisions and measure success
- Confident in taking direct ownership of a product roadmap
- Highly empathetic communication (both verbally and async)
- A love of working and influencing teams cross-functionally to align everyone towards the most important goals for our customers and our company, ensuring every team member is brought on the journey and understands priorities
- At the heart of Lumio product, you’re fully aware of the importance of diversity and impact of bias in the product journey and to ensure we build a product for families of all types

We'll want to see that you can do the work through an assessment that reflects the work you’ll actually be doing day to day. More on our debiased process at the bottom of this job description!
In your first 6 months, you’ll:
- Work with our CPO, Tom, on our product strategy and roadmap as we strive for product-market fit. You'll own, craft and maintain our roadmap, using data to decide which features and outcomes are the most important for our users
- Lead debiased and diversified user research to identify specific insights that guide the roadmap and ability to serve “families of all types”
- Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
- Work directly with our design and engineering teams to inform their workload and ensure that every released feature is valuable, viable, usable and feasible.
- Help lead our engineering team make the correct trade-offs to ensure fast, consistent and quality delivery
- Analyse our product metrics (we use Mixpanel) to understand our users’ behaviour and make data-driven improvements to bring Lumio closer to its goals
- Contribute to do the "glue work" that holds Lumio together, contributing to our OKR process and keeping the team involved with product developments
