Full time, with 3 days a week out of one of our London, One Braham Digital hub (flexible 2 days wherever)
Working within our corporate unit’s division, you’ll play an important and strategic role in delivering the best experiences for our internal BT colleagues.
It is an opportunity to shape a new product culture and drive new ways of working for Corporate Units – bringing a focus on delivering great experiences for BT employees in ways that work for the business.
You’ll be working closely with the Product & Design Director to shape the colleague journey strategy and define where we can make the biggest impact in making our colleagues work-lives easier.
Successful candidate will lead a set of product managers to deliver a set of outcomes for the business and customers. Where you will need to work closely with several multi-disciplined peers and reports.

You will have the following responsibilities.
  • Influencing and shaping requirements for new initiatives across the unit, you’ll translate strategies and targets into a digital experience vision (defining the overarching vision, strategy, and objectives).
  • Performance and line management responsibility for a top tier team of product owners. Ensuring that their potential is achieved, best practices are shared, and engagement attained.
  • You’ll collate, distil, and interrogate user insight and business priorities to create a balanced view of our colleagues needs and business challenges.
  • The creation, maintenance of a strategic roadmap and backlog that your PMs contribute to for the various tribes.
  • You’ll create business cases to secure investment and own budgets required to deliver outcomes for the Product and Design teams.
  • Driving our corporate unit’s Digital vision across BT, evangelising digital practises cross-channel and across directorates.

You'll have the following skills & experience:
  • Successful commercial experience of leading cross-functional teams within in a Business Digital environment.
  • Experience working in mobile.
  • Commercial background in product strategy.
  • SME in product road mapping.
  • Strong experience in product lifecycle management.
  • Commercial background and skills in user story definition.
  • Ability to champion and ambassador AGILE methodologies.
