Job description
Tech legends start here
Do you want to design, engineer and deliver sophisticated machine learning models? Want to build engaging customer experiences across everything from banking to apps? Then apply for our Product graduate programme – because it’s never too soon to think about your future legacy. You might be surprised at just how much tech, digital and data drives a retail business as ours.
We currently have two pathways for graduates: Digital & Data Product; and Technology Product. Each programme lasts between 12 and 24 months, with up to four rotations around the business. Across both options, you’ll enjoy learning all about our product lifecycles, how to use your strategic mindset to deliver results, what it means to influence stakeholders, the people behind the products, and the advancement of modern technology.
Working alongside legendary product managers, designers, developers, data scientists and subject matter experts, you’ll help shape the fast-moving world of retail and e-commerce – and enjoy a masterclass in practical training and structured mentorship.
Digital and Data Product Management Pathway
Join us here and explore rotations across our data and digital products. Data products will involve working on sophisticated machine learning models that help your colleagues make better decisions – whether they work in Clothing & Home Planning, Buying & Pricing or in Retail Operations. Digital products include building engaging customer experiences across personalisation, banking, apps, or the web.
Technology Product Pathway
On this pathway, you’ll work closely with engineers to measure and drive success of products, and make sure solutions are valuable, viable, usable and feasible for the customer. In essence, you’ll act as the voice of the customer, and translate their needs into product vision and strategy.
Whichever pathway you choose, we’ll support you at every step, helping you to reach your ambitions – no matter where they take you within our global organisation. Before starting, you’ll need to show a keen and demonstrable interest in product, data, technology and retail – either through relevant qualifications, experience or through self-directed learning. Ideally, you’ll also have experience or knowledge of product management, product design, and analytics.
The talented people we’re looking for in both these programmes will be curious and analytical, with a user-centric approach and always looking to improve. You’ll also be an active listener who can analyse and consolidate multiple opinions and insights for optimal delivery – these are critical attributes to every future legend’s success.
