How the IoT Product and Test Team works
Silicon Labs is focused on bringing new and innovative Wireless SOC and MCU products to the marketplace. These products are more than meets the eye with integrated wireless radios plus full MCU capability that includes innovative DFT/BIST, test methodology, and customization. The IoT Product and Test engineering team at Silicon Labs is a dynamic and growing group that drives new product introduction for this exciting and high growth business. This engineering team drives development of advanced test solutions including software and hardware design, qualification, and characterization of devices.

products through test development, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing release.

What you will do:
  • Develop wireless and mixed signal ICs from the post-design stage through manufacturing release. Develop test solutions used in design validation and mass production. Support manufacturing engineers on yield improvement, quality assurance, and cost reduction efforts.
  • Develop hardware and software for device characterization, reliability qualification, and production test
  • Perform characterization and reliability qualification of new IC designs
  • Provide statistical analysis of yields and parametric test data
  • Optimize yield and manufacturing cost while maintaining excellent product quality
  • Work with design, validation, failure analysis, and marketing cross-functional teams to take products from design to production
What skills you will need:
  • Minimum 3 years in Product and Test Engineering preferred
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering required, M.S. in Electrical Engineering preferred
  • Experience with test development of mixed signal or RF circuits
  • Experience with semiconductor fab process
  • Proficiency with statistical analysis and process control
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, positive attitude, and willingness to work on a team

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $81,900 - $152,100 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
