Data Product Engineer
Hybrid - 3x per week, Edinburgh

The Company
The company works in the retail, telecoms, and energy sectors, but has a niche in the pharmaceutical sector. Their projects tend to focus on Marketing and Data Transformation.
They have recently had a new Chief Data Scientist join them, who has been growing out the customer analytics, data science, and data engineering functions. A new Data Product department has been created, where new data products are being built from scratch.
The role and responsibilities
- Building out APIs in line with client requirements
- No initial client interaction, but will move towards client engagement when the products are sold.
- Working on greenfield projects and developing new data products
Your skills and experience
- Experience with cloud platforms (ideally Azure)
- Experience with Python, APIs, and Unit Testing
- Experience with DevOps tools, e.g. CI/CD or Docker
