Centre Of Creative Excellence is our In-House Creative and Content agency. A unique, creative and fun environment based across 3 locations, Milton Keynes, Coventry & Bedford. A large team of Creative and Technical experts creating content for a wide array of General Merchandise, Jewellery and Fashion products. Bringing our products and brands to life and helping our customers to make the right purchase decision based on their unique shopping mission.
We support all brands across the Sainsbury’s group (Sainsbury’s, Argos, Habitat and Tu), across all channels and platforms. Our Photography and Video content is a critical part of creating a truly exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
As a PDC Coordinator you’ll work as part of the Sample Management team who control the receipt, movement, archiving and disposal of all samples into the Ansty Product Development Centre (PDC). The Ansty PDC manages Clothing, Jewellery & General Merchandise samples and the Floor Coordinator works alongside stakeholders in the Commercial Buying & Design teams, Photography Studio teams, Technical & Ethical & Marketing teams.
As a PDC Co-ordinator you’ll:
- Receive, book in and label products ready for storage and deliver products to designated areas/locations within agreed timescales. Accuracy and attention to detail is key and careful handling of products is a must.
- Ensure that our products are scanned onto our systems and into appropriate locations when products are moved.
- Coordinate all sample disposal and archive requests and activities
- Establish trusted & collaborative relationships with the Post Room colleagues to ensure fast, smooth receipt of sample / product packages. Great communication is key to ensuring the operation runs effectively.
- Establish trusted & collaborative relationships with the wider Centre of Creative Excellence team. These teams will require you to provide products for Marketing, PR & Social media shoots. You will provide the products & regular updates on product status and whereabouts.
- Establish trusted & collaborative relationships with the Commercial buying team. These teams will provide details of expected deliveries, communicate when samples / products need to be provided for review purposes and confirm when product can be archived or disposed of. In turn you will provide regular updates on product status and whereabouts.
- Take ownership of the tidiness and organisation of the PDC spaces, ensuring you are adhering to H&S policies at all times and the PDC is neat, tidy and orderly. Flag any H&S concerns/ breaches immediately to your line Manager or Facilities Management team.
Our Centre of Creative Excellence team would love to see:
- The ability to work within a team and share responsibilities/tasks to achieve deadlines
- Experience working in and maintaining high levels of tidiness in a stockroom environment
- Previous stock management or stock audit experience, including the use of warehouse stock management systems would be desirable
- The use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Teams, Word & Excel (basic to intermediate knowledge of Excel including VLOOKUPs would be desirable)
