Job description

We're looking for a Product Designer who's ready to take their skills to the next level and join our team. You'll play a critical role in shaping the user experience for our clients' digital products, from websites to web and mobile apps. You'll work closely with our team of strategists, account managers, developers, and digital marketers to understand the business goals and user needs, and then turn that understanding into beautiful, intuitive, and effective digital experiences. This role is ideal for experienced UX Designers interested in learning and stretching to take on greater Product Management responsibilities in delivering effective and impactful digital products.

Skyrocket Digital is a Vancouver-based digital agency that's on a mission to help clients build brands, create digital marketing campaigns, and develop web solutions that drive real-world impact. We're a tight-knit team of strategists, account managers, designers, developers, and digital marketers who are passionate about using strategy, design, and technology to create solutions that solve the challenges faced by our clients.

What you'll be doing

- Conduct user research and testing to understand user needs and behaviours
- Lead discovery workshops with clients and users to uncover product requirements
- Facilitate ongoing design feedback and management through the product lifecyle
- Work closely with the product team to define product features and prioritize design solutions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to bring the product vision to life
- Work closely with the development team to meet the design and user needs
- Continuously iterate and refine the product design based on user feedback and testing
- Develop and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides

What we're looking for

- 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer or Product Designer
- Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in UX/Product Design for digital products
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools, such as Figma
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or related field
