About them:
The Digital Team here are delivering one of the boldest digital transformations in the higher education sector. This starts off with the Chief Digital Officer building out revolutionary diverse teams of digital experts who put users at the heart of everything they do.
You'll be joining a number of growing agile teams (almost near 6/7 teams) of designers at various levels, supported by product & BA specialists, developers, specialist researchers and much more. There's currently around 100 people in the company which aims to double in the next year.
You will be given the freedom to design and shape unique, user-centric products and experiences in agile teams. You'll be someone who is used to gathering research to make deliberate design decisions and working closely with product, UI and front-end colleagues in a cross functional team.
About you:
You will be someone who is eager and ready to join either a brand new digital team, support an existing team, or even lead a small team of designers to help them to carve out new digital capabilities. Bringing in new ideas to table and wanting to make a massive positive impact on the future of education will be something that will be massively valued.
You'll initially sit in one division on greenfield development projects and continuous improvement for one main product, but with have scope to progress upwards, sideways, and across different products (as well as helping to develop new ones in the future). They're a user-focussed company who put UX at the forefront of everything they do, so you'll be well supported, your ideas will be listened to and much more.
Key skills:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in UX Design ideally in a product environment
- Ideally experienced in progressing designs into visuals, working with style guides, patterns and libraries.
- Somebody who can help develop our approach and strategies around design and content will be a plus
