Our team is growing and we are looking for passionate and creative Product Designers to add to our Montreal-based team!

As a Product Designer on the MEDFAR team, you will work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers and Directors to support the design of a patient oriented omnichannel experience that will change the game for patients and primary care clinics in Quebec and across Canada. You will be primarily responsible for turning product specifications into intuitive UI designs, conducting user research, leveraging existing design patterns and our design system to create user-centric interfaces for patients.

You will be responsible for:

• Designing and Improving existing wireframes, mocks and workflows to optimize usability and responsiveness;
• Following established guidelines, standards, and best practices to produce designs ranging from sketches to high-fidelity mockups using Figma;
• Producing consistent and high-quality designs and documentation that answer the needs of internal/external stakeholders and users;
• Assisting with the production of functional specs, prototypes, user flows, and design process documentation on an as-needed basis;
• Prioritizing decisions and work based on set criteria and specifications defined with Product Ownership and Product Management;
• Working as part of an agile workflow using Jira and Confluence to document and track tasks and dependencies;
• You will also have the opportunity to conduct usability testing, user research, user interviews, and analysis of quantitative insights when possible.

Contribute to our team with your strengths:

• 3+ years of product design experience within a software company;
• Good knowledge of iOS and Android interfaces. Experience designing for responsive web applications is an asset;
• Demonstrated understanding of user needs, logical flow, hierarchy, and essential design principles. While we use Figma, we will consider anyone with a demonstrated ability with a combination of core design tools;
• A driven and self-starter attitude and excitement to build relationships with Engineering, Product Ownership, and Product Management;
• An ability to strike a balance between quality, speed, and the requirements of a B2C software;
• Aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects on the go, who can product pixel-perfect designs, but understands the need for an MVP in agile, and who is comfortable with an iterative approach to design;
• Experience in a healthcare-related industry would be considered an asset.
