Product Designer | Hammersmith
(3 days per week in our co-working office in Hammersmith, with free breakfast daily and gym membership!)
We're on a mission to make the world fairer and more productive by making property investing more accessible for everyone. We're a well funded startup with a clear vision, purpose & mission. Suited to someone who is action orientated, you'll be working closely with Mat, our Head of Design who joined us from 11:FS, as we solve problems such as "how do we help people understand how their investment has grown?" or "how do we help people find the best mortgage for their investment?".
Working alongside interdisciplinary Tech squads, your days will vary and give you plenty of opportunity to develop. Our small design function is critical to creating a best-in-class property investment platform. We're ambitious, and someone passionate about validating assumptions and designing for measurable impact will be well suited to this role.
As Product Designer, you will:
- Collaborate daily with Product Managers and Engineers
- Contribute to turning our product strategy into a reality
- Design simple and elegant solutions to complex user needs
- Balance product needs and technical feasibility to design a scalable platform
- Contribute to improving and adapting an existing design system
- Prioritise output based on the needs of your team
- Participate in simple user research when required
- Follow your design solutions through to the final implementation, supporting the engineering team throughout the build process
- Support the Head of Design in the continued improvement of our design processes

Who you are:
- You're excited about taking on complex design challenges
- You are about craft with an excellent eye for visual design; pixel perfection is a must for you
- You've spent several years honing your skills as an Individual Contributor
- You love Figma! And are a master at using it
- You're comfortable talking to customers and efficiently testing ideas with them
- You consider the big picture when making design decisions, and your work is better for it
- You're confident communicating design rationale with other disciplines
- You've designed experiences that are data-heavy and where financial services play a key role
