JOB ROLE
Through your work on packaging projects (for many of the world’s most prestigious brands), you will be influential and innovative within Signet. You will be an important part of our three-person design team, ensuring the team achieves its goals by sharing your product design knowledge and expertise. You will be leading the design of new products, seeing your own samples within months and creating Signet's own label spirit brands. You will be involved in developing our expanding design team as well as having a voice that matters. This a fantastic opportunity to show off your creative design skills, pushing the boundaries of packaging embellishments to bring ideas to life through exceptional visualisation as well as working with incredibly motivated and caring people. The role is an office based job in Peterborough, PE2 6XU.

Requirements:
We are seeking a talented, motivated designer, to join our growing team and develop up to become one of our in-house design specialists with expert understanding of the luxury packaging sector and the inherent technical parameters. You will be seeking to grow creatively and will be willing to stretch yourself to learn about all aspects of our business.
- Of course, experience helps and knowledge of Adobe Creative tools, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop would be great.
- However, what we are most interested in is a person with a strong work ethic, who is exceptionally creative and that has an intuitive get-up-and-go character. Training will be provided, so you must be prepared to learn and explore new ideas with a gritty nature.
- It would helpful if you have a good working knowledge of 3D CAD and rendering software, specifically SolidWorks and Keyshot, but we can train you in these.
- A basic understanding of manufacturing, e.g. injection moulding, die casting and printing processes would also be advantageous.
- Finally you need to have excellent inter-personal skills to work with colleagues and communicate with our customers, including giving presentations. It is essential that you bring strong analytical, research, organisational, detail, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects meet the needs of the brief and are delivered on time.
