Product Delivery Manager
Salary: From £45,000 per annum negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Permanent
Location: Hybrid - flexibility to work from home or at any of our main hubs (London, Bristol, Manchester and Harwell)

About the role:
The Cybersecurity division provides a high-quality facility to protect the JANET network from intrusion, denial of service and all other service impacting potential threats and attacks.

In this role you will manage a range of infrastructure and service delivery product development projects that will join the cyber security portfolio. These products are strategically important and often business critical for members and customers. The role will entail working with other Jisc teams dedicated to supporting the customer, providing a joined-up service portfolio.

Responsibilities will include:
  • To manage, interact and build effective relations with key stakeholders within the relevant product groups, including all internal and external stakeholders
  • To apply and follow the relevant product and project lifecycle methodology including creating and maintaining the necessary programme controls that are associated with: planning, tracking, budgets, risks, issues and change management
  • Support the development of new cyber services by providing product delivery expertise and direction
  • Manage the delivery of new products from an identified requirement to active service, following Jisc’s project and product processes.

Key Skills and Experience:
  • Demonstratable experience in the successful delivery of a range of technical programmes
  • Experience of managing workshops and meetings with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience of product delivery processes
  • Ability to master programme management and collaboration tools
  • Excellent communication, social and organisational skills, a high degree of initiative and leadership and dedication to engage teams and deliver a concept to live service.
