You and Your Team:
As a Product Associate, you will be reporting to the Head of Product Management. You’ll be supporting the Cards Product Management team, working closely with the broader Commercial team to drive clear recommendations on how to manage and grow the credit card business in a profitable and customer centric manner.
In your day-to-day role, as a Product Associate you will:
- Ensuring that the credit card products are designed, developed, and managed to embrace the customer needs and good customer outcomes (GCOs) set by the business and meet the requirements of the regulator.
- Gathering and interpreting a sufficient range of internal and external reference points and benchmarks to identify opportunities and benefits.
- Identifying and making recommendations and business cases for changes to the car products for both new and existing customers.
- Playing a key role in the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring VBL has a suite of products that supports new business card acquisition commercial strategy.
- Forming strong working relationships with stakeholders across the Bank.
What you will bring to the team:
- Able to manage own work and small projects to react quickly to fast moving, demanding situations.
- A commercial perspective and understanding of compliance and risk management processes needed to underpin decision making.
- An understanding of the customer journey for credit cards and the commercial and customer outcomes that are part of the credit card product.
- Ability to drive customer and commercial KPIs to deliver and/or exceed the planned ‘balanced scorecard’ for the business.
- Results orientated, with a natural problem-solving mindset that uses thoughtfulness, drive and appropriate urgency.
