A typical day for a Product Analyst

As a Product Analyst, your typical day may start with reviewing the bookings that came in the previous day and checking for anything that might indicate a problem with one of our suppliers or airlines.

You may receive notification of new content available from one of our suppliers and would be asked to assess this before deciding to add it to our website.

Some of your day will usually be spent on one or more bigger projects. This could be something like integrating a new provider on the site or adding a new function for our customers.

Along the way, you'll likely interact with other members of the team, including project managers, stakeholders from across the business (customer service, finance, commercial, marketing), and developers, to ensure that everyone is on the same page and the project is moving forward smoothly.

The team also does general monitoring and prepares reports on several KPIs on a monthly basis.

We use insights from our reports to create action plans to tackle any performance issues we see and increase booking volume and other metrics.

On other days you may be asked to visit an airline or other partner and help negotiate new contracts or incentives with them.
