Job Title: Procurement Project Internship
Location: UK (Based from Home)
Salary: Pro-rata (PT hours across weekdays/flexibility)
What You Will Be Doing
At UNILODE we have an exclusive Internship/Placement opportunity, covering 3-6 months (dependent on workload) that will offer you the experience of working for one of the world leading aerospace partners and place you within one of the businesses expert, driven and growing teams. The placement will enable you to be involved in one of the key areas of Procurement in order to support and deliver in some key business critical projects.
Your role will be project manage a key critical piece of analysis, related to improving efficiencies and solutions within the global procurement base and to analyse and report on the various types, routes, volumes, and values of logistics/procurement spend within UNILODE.
Follow Your Passion With The Following Responsibilities
The key responsibilities will be to collate, analyse, and tabulate UNILODE logistics spend to allow various levels of reporting, by identifying spend/costs by date, supplier, region, country, freight mode or Transport, legislative spend (including VAT) and customs duties/administrative spend.
This will also support the ability to identify and analyse other key areas of spend as found during the review, then turning the data and information into reports. You will also need to present to the Procurement Team on the above while detailing key spend areas, observations, and trends.
On successful completion there will also be the opportunity to be involved in further possible projects within Procurement.
Skills
We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate their ability or experience to be analytical, organised, structured and meticulous in detail, while being comfortable with vast quantities of unstructured data.
They will need to show the capability to be able to maximise their time to produce against key deadlines, and organising themselves in structured environment
This would suit a current Procurement Undergraduate or Postgraduate that can manage the work alongside current studies or commitments
We are happy to receive interest from applicants with qualifications associated with procurement, supply chain, and/or logistics such as Maths, Sciences, Engineering or IT.
Experience and practice with Excel (intermediate to advanced). And PowerPoint (intermediate) is advantageous.
