Job description
Band: Career graded 4 – 8 £23,100 - £34,833 (Increasing to £23,289 – £35,124 from September 2023 following a transitional pay award period)
- Leading on projects and contributing to the development and maintenance of contracting arrangements.
- Maintaining and maximising optimum value for money to deliver a flexible and high-quality service which supports the Force and OPCC (Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner) strategic objectives.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal customers to ensure Procurement processes and existing contracts are managed well and continue to deliver value for money.
- Acting as the first point of contact for Procurement queries from internal and external stakeholders, to deliver value for money solutions.
- Supporting the Senior Procurement Officer on key projects.
- Maintaining accurate records.
- Data Analysis.
- Carrying out market research.
