Job description
Role Purpose:
As Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the purchase and timely receipt of all required raw materials and components relating to agreed sales orders.
Taking full ownership to ensure the best prices are achieved and maintained at all times and is responsible for managing the company’s stock holding in monetary terms.

Key responsibilities within the role include:
- Build, maintain, and manage supplier relationships and act as the first point of contact.
- Maximise value and ensure cost competitiveness
- Lead and support major change projects including cost reduction, innovation, and sustainability.
- Manage tenders and negotiate commercial agreements
- Ensure legal agreements are in place with all suppliers
- Financial management. Budget setting and reporting of buying variance.
- Work closely with suppliers to ensure packaging materials are delivered on time and in full
- Support supplier performance reporting as required
- Maintain appropriate records on internal business systems including SAP (contracts & PO management)
Qualifications
- Confidence in dealing with challenging situations.
- Industry Player (e.g., Previous work from P&G, GSK, etc.)
- FMCG, Distribution, Commerce, Consumer Product and/or Complex International manufacturing operations
- Proven Negotiation skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Competent in working with SAP, Excel, and Word
- Team player, proactive and results-focused
- Language skills would be advantageous but not essential Italian/German/French
Qualifications

Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 35 per week
Salary: £39,922.26-£77,631.23 per year
