This is an exciting chance to join a worldwide market leading supply chain and logistics service provider to the healthcare industry, based in the East Midlands.

This role is for a Procurement Manager covering ‘Goods not for re-sale’ (GNFR). This role is hybrid whereby you can split your working location between office and home. The role covers the following;
- leading the development, implementing and ongoing management of procurement strategies at a local or regional level for a portfolio of goods and services, in line with Group Procedures.
- Working with stakeholders (functional, procurement and supplier), to develop and agree the right go to market strategy and associated tactics for initiatives.
- Providing thought leadership as well as identifies, creating and implementing initiatives to maximise value and ensure ongoing management of supplier contracts and relationships.
- Project managing work-streams and initiatives to ensure timely delivery of objectives, ensuring all necessary milestones and processes, including formal stakeholder approvals, are completed.
This job comprises of four key activities:
Procurement strategy development and Buy-in
Sourcing of goods and services
Procurement-led change
Contract management
What our client is looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree
- CPM, CPSM and MCIPS certification preferred.
- We are looking for someone that has at least 7 years relevant procurement experience.
- Be able to travel up to 20% of the time for business purposes (within county, country and internationally)
- Expertise in each aspect of the procurement lifecycle and professional procurement best practices
- Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Both require you to be flexible, professional, have a keen eye for detail and to produce a high level of workmanship.
