THE ROLE
Following the acquisition of Ted Baker by Authentic Brands Group, the operating model is transitioning from a centralised Group model to a decentralised territory based operating model with different partners operating the territories. The Procurement Manager role will be a core member of the transition planning team, supporting the migration of global goods not for retail supplier agreements into territory-based arrangements and/or being provided as part of a support arrangement to the territory partner.
Reporting to: Director of Operations
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Goods Not for Resale Procurement specialist
- Areas of focus – Technology, E-commerce and Marketing supply base
- Maintain pipeline of renewals and potential new suppliers
- Supporting contract renewals and supplier negotiations for the novation or assignment of contracts from the centralised model to a territory based operating model
- Maintaining the contract database
- Supporting onboarding of new suppliers working the functional leads
- Liaising closely with functional leads, finance business partners and legal team to deliver contract renewals and/or new suppliers
TOOLS OF THE TRADE
- Several years of procurement experience to include large technology suppliers
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal
- Ability to work independently across the key functional areas and manage key internal / external stakeholders
