Our client is a fast-growing outsourcer that specialise in the delivery of essential public services across defence, transport, justice, immigration, health care and other citizen services. They operate across four regions: UK & Europe, North America, Asia Pacific, and Middle East. We are looking for a BI Analyst to join their HR/People Reporting and Analytics team. The team are responsible for the delivery of data analysis, analytics, and reporting across corporate functions. Using corporate BI platforms (SAP HCM/SAP Analytics Cloud, Power BI and SAP Business Warehouse), they develop reporting and analytics to help inform strategic decision making.

The role will work through the end-to-end cycle of requirements gathering, report development, to analysing and interpreting the reports to highlight insights for the HR/People team.

Key responsibilities
- Maintain regular communication with key exec level stakeholders in area of expertise providing regular business commentary and building strong relationships..
- Support the design, build and reporting of reporting and analytics to gain visibility of key management information and insights.
- Design, deliver and review a suite of accurate reports in collaboration with all interested stakeholders on a daily, weekly monthly and ad-hoc basis.
- Create analytical products tailored for key audiences such as HR executives and managing directors
- Able to simply communicate complex issues, processes, and data to a non-technical audience.
- Identify and act on opportunities to streamline the existing reporting delivery and the methods of delivering reports and dashboards.
About you
- You would be an initiative-taking individual who has plenty of personal drive, has a professional approach to their work and is able to self-manage their workload
- Good working knowledge of HR and People functions
- Experience building strong relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders in People Services and the wider HR Community including HR Business Partners and Directors.
- Support the development of the corporate Business Warehouse environments, working closely with teams in HR to identify and highlight data quality or integrity issues, and recommend new improvements to enhance reporting.
- Conduct detailed analysis of key issues related to the workforce, including pay, attrition, engagement, absence, performance and recruitment, to be shared with the senior leadership teams
- Analytical ability and can own deliverables
- Able to simply communicate complex issues, processes, and data to a non-technical audience.
- Strong data visualisation and presentation skills.
- Data manipulation skills, including ability to extract, transform, and analyse multiple large data sets.
- High customer focus with commercial awareness and a drive to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Experience of using data analysis and visualisation tools is essential ideally within SAP based solution & / or platforms such as Tableau or Qlik
- Advantageous to have some competence in analytical languages such as Python, R, SQL, or DAX
