About the Role
As part of the wider GNFR Procurement team at ASOS, you will be working within Procurement Sourcing Services to produce reporting and support tactical procurement activity.
The Procurement Analyst plays a pivotal role within the Procurement team; producing supplier spend analysis and research, as well as audit controls reporting and benefits tracking. You will be a key interface between the wider business and the Procurement team, driving compliance to processes and continuously improving ways of working.
You will gain a deep understanding of how a global fast-paced online retailer operates and will have the opportunity to work with stakeholders across exciting business areas.
About the Team
The GNFR Procurement Team are responsible for procuring all goods and services that are not sold on to our customers. This includes spend areas such as Supply Chain & Logistics, Tech & Digital, Marketing & Customer Experience, as well as supporting core operational teams such as PX, Space, Finance, and Legal.
What You’ll be Doing
- Designing and delivering benefits tracking – cash and cost savings
- Designing and producing data and reports to support audit requirements and controls
- Managing datasets to enable self-serve as well as providing analysis
- Setting up and managing tenders, including analysis on responses
- Triage of Purchase Requisitions through to Purchase Order
- Carrying out supplier due diligence and co-ordinating the set-up of new suppliers
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing change
- Delivering Procurement team and wider stakeholder training on procurement processes, including video production and face to face
- Inputting to the selection, deployment, ongoing management, and training on Procurement systems
- Driving continuous improvement across all procurement processes
- Responsible for driving & tracking supplier compliance to our ESG needs in support of our Fashion With Integrity strategy
- Supporting our culture by driving Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies.
Who We’d Like to Meet
- An inquisitive mind, a passion for learning and the confidence to challenge
- Strong analytical skills to provide accurate information using advanced Excel and PowerBI skills
- An understanding of the Source to Contract and Procure to Pay processes
- Experience of working with ERP systems, MS D365 preferred, but other ERP experience is also useful
- The ability to pivot quickly and prioritise effectively
- The ability to be proactive within a dynamic environment susceptible to change
- Strong organisational and project management skills and the ability to juggle many tasks with competing deadlines
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with workload spikes
- Good systematic thinking and able to translate activities into logical process steps
- The ability to maintain flexibility, be adaptable and have the tenacity to achieve goals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships at all levels across the wider business
- The ability to use their own initiative – a self-starter who can anticipate others’ needs with strong judgment, common sense, discretion, and professional maturity.
